DowneyMADE – June Bayha, Juan Giraldo Ramirez, and Enrique Llanes

Bayha Group, led by CEO June Bayha, has worked with Downey schools for eight years to reimagine the ways we connect teens to internships, industry mentors and long-term employment. Along the way, youth are picking up important workplace skills—a work ethic, professional appearance, and financial literacy in the real world—-along with polished resumes and projects for their portfolios. We’re joined on this episode of Future Groove by June and two of her colleagues, who started as high school interns and are now college students working remotely for the company. Listen in as we talk about how Gen Z-focused programs created in Downey are on the cusp of reinvention.
